Planehook Aviation Services, LLC announced today that it is taking “one small step” with general aviation security to assist the “giant leap” for space tourism. “We think of this as a natural step in the evolution of general aviation—transforming from air-breathing vehicles into spacecraft,” states Dave Hook, Planehook’s president. “We adapted our successful approach to general aviation security to meet the unique aspects of general spaceflight. Planehook’s approach of reasonable security with a clear, measureable Return on Investment, however, will never change,” he added. Space is big, and so is space tourism. Hook believes that without the assistance of other diverse security experts, there is just too much for any one company to handle.
