Emerge College Success Program: Educational Consulting, Mentoring, Advocacy and Support Services for College Students and Young Adults in Boise, Idaho.
The Emerge young adult transition program integrates mentoring, advocacy and student support services into the college experience for students. Emerge specializes in transitional services and has an expertise in advising families with young adults who have experienced the challenges of learning disabilities, emotional challenges and/or behavioral difficulties. Emerge possesses a comprehensive knowledge of the components leading to independent living and emancipation for young adults. Our model is based on the premise that people learn basic life skills through positive interaction with the world around them. Emerge provides both the academic resources and mentoring support to help instill positive change in each client's approach to the college experience.
Through this young adult transitional program's components, students and their parents receive ongoing support and guidance. Details of this transitional approach are proposed through a client's on-site visit and preparation leading to the beginning of their first college term with Emerge. Each student's program is highly individualized and components are designed based on their specific needs and goals. The college mentoring program is focused on gaining skills toward independence and emancipation, as well as solidifying the student's plan for college success.
Students are able to apply and begin the Emerge experience on a rolling basis. With a variety of positive volunteer, internship and vocational options in the Boise area, students can relocate and start their transition midterm while preparing for the next semester at Boise State University. Students also may benefit from college course options arranged through flexible start dates from within the program.
All of the program's components draw on Andrew Bryan's experience and expertise working as an educational consultant for over 20 years. For an initial conversation regarding the potential of educational consulting and college mentoring with Andrew Bryan and his team call 1-208-484-5835 or email.
