Prior to founding the company vic advisors in February 2005, Victor spent over two years with IKANOS Communications as a Managing Director of European operations, where he was responsible for sales, marketing and business development in EMEA region.
Prior to IKANOS Communications, Victor spent 6 years with PMC-Sierra in Europe as Managing Director of European operations. In this position Victor was responsible for PMC-Sierra’s European sales, marketing and applications. He carried full P&L; responsibility of the European organization including annual revenues of approx. $70M.
Prior to joining PMC-Sierra, Victor was a Director of European sales and marketing at Lucent Technologies Microelectronics Group and Managing Director (Geschäftsführer) of Lucent Technologies GmbH.
During this time, Victor carried P&L; responsibility of the European organization with ca. 350 employees incl. approx. annual revenues of $400M - $600M.
He transitioned from AT&T; Bell Laboratories to Marketing of AT&T; Microelectronics in 1989. During his 15 years with AT&T; and Lucent Technologies in Europe, Victor held various positions in design, marketing, sales and general management.
After the acquisition of Synertek in 1985 by AT&T; Microelectronics, Victor continued his career at European design centre of Bell Laboratories as ASIC design engineer.
Victor moved from Silicon Valley, CA to Munich in 1983 where he worked at Synertek Inc. as ASIC design engineer.
He began his career in 1976 as an ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuits) design engineer with American Microsystems Inc. (AMI) in Santa Clara, California.
Victor holds Master’s Degree (MSC) in Electronics Engineering and Information Technology from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He also has a Certificate in Strategic Marketing Management from Harvard University, Business School.
